Report
Good health is the foundation of happiness shared by people all over the world. In Japan, there is a health insurance system that covers all citizens, and many people benefit from it. However, with the aging of the population, the cost of medical care is increasing as a percentage of the national budget, posing a serious financial challenge to the nation. Under these circumstances, preventive efforts to prevent people from getting sick in the first place are attracting attention and are expected not only to improve people’s health but also to contribute to the reduction of future medical costs.
In this project, we provided wide-ranging support for the study of business models based on industry-academia-government collaboration with local public institutions, etc., which is necessary for developing a home medical device business in the target country, drafting of business plans, utilization of support systems such as market surveys, and coordination with embassies and government agencies.
