Report

In Africa, as a result of the explosive spread of mobile phones amid insufficient landline infrastructure, innovative services utilizing mobile phones have been created one after another and are being used by many people.

Similarly, because of the lack of road and transportation infrastructure in Africa, there is an opportunity for logistics services utilizing drones to spread as the next-generation infrastructure.

In areas with many unpaved roads, especially in rural areas and remote areas, it is difficult to drive even motorcycles and 4X4 vehicles, so logistics services that do not depend on road conditions or maintenance conditions are desired.

In this project, we helped with various activities such as market research, needs research, license and approval research, and demonstrations. We were able to understand what kind of conditions drone logistics will face in order to meet the needs of local people, and supported better understanding of local stakeholders about our client’s products and technology.
